Paella workshop in our garden

We organize a paella cooking workshop in a lovely kitchen garden where an expert will teach you how to prepare a delicious paella. You will learn about the ingredients, while enjoying an aperitivo, if you like. Step by step we will reveal the secrets of cooking an authentic paella. Then the best part: eating it! Afterwards you are invited to a typical Spanish tradition, the sobremesa, a relaxing chat after lunch.

If there is a dish world wide known, it is the paella. This delicious meal, made with rice, vegetables and meat, is a Valencian dish with ancient roots that originated in its modern form in the mid-19th century near. Of course you can make a vegetarian paella too, just let us know.

According to tradition, paella is cooked over an open fire, fueled by orange and pine branches along with pine cones. This produces an aromatic smoke which infuses the paella. Also, dinner guests traditionally eat directly out of the paellera.

Here in Castellón, where is believed to be born the original recipe, we are proud to have the best paella cookers.

An ideal activity for those who love cooking and enjoying a traditional meal in the open air.
